Supervision
Clinical Supervision
My approach to supervision is curious and collaborative with the goals of competent client care and counselor development considering individual strengths and interests. I want to foster counselors who feel competent in their work, feel heard and respected by their supervisor, and feel a sense of power and ownership over their professional development. I strive to develop and maintain supervisory relationships that allow for open exploration of the counselor’s beliefs, values, and knowledges to best support them in their pursuit of their own professional goals, as well as developing skills for self-reflection and cultural humility that will enhance their practice with diverse clients.
Ultimately, my goal is to provide scaffolded training, knowledge, and skills to develop ethical counselors that will think critically, empathically, and with cultural humility. I strive to meet them where they are, to model ethical skills and practices, and to stay committed to my own learning and growth as a supervisor.
If you are a practicing counselor seeking clinical supervision in Ohio, Kentucky, or Colorado, feel free to contact me to discuss how I may be able to support you.
